ISN Media respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. This policy outlines how we protect our own content, how we handle claims of copyright infringement, and the procedures for submitting a DMCA takedown request.

Our Content

All content published on ISN Media, including but not limited to articles, photographs, videos, graphics, logos, and website design, is the property of Independent Source Network or its content suppliers and is protected by international copyright laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any of our content without prior written permission, except as follows:

  • Your computer or device may temporarily store copies of materials incidental to your accessing and viewing the content
  • You may share links to our content on social media and other platforms
  • You may print or download one copy of a reasonable number of pages for your own personal, non-commercial use
  • Brief quotations for the purpose of criticism, commentary, or news reporting may be permitted under fair use principles

Respect for Third-Party Copyright

ISN Media is committed to respecting the copyright of others. We make every effort to ensure that content published on our website does not infringe on the intellectual property rights of third parties.

  • We obtain proper licenses or permissions for third-party content used in our reporting
  • We provide attribution for all third-party content used with permission
  • We use third-party content only within the scope of fair use where applicable
  • We promptly remove any content found to infringe on the rights of others

DMCA Takedown Requests

If you believe that content on ISN Media infringes your copyright, you may submit a takedown request under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). Your notice must include the following:

  • A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
  • Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate it (such as the URL)
  • Your contact information, including your name, address, telephone number, and email address
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
  • A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner

Review and Response

Upon receiving a valid DMCA takedown request, we will:

  • Acknowledge receipt of the request
  • Review the request to determine its validity
  • Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material if the request is found to be valid
  • Notify the party whose content was removed, if applicable
  • Respond to the copyright owner regarding the actions taken

Counter-Notification

If you believe that content you posted was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification. Your counter-notification must include:

  • Your physical or electronic signature
  • Identification of the material that has been removed and the location where it appeared before removal
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification
  • Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts in your district

Repeat Infringement

ISN Media has adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, users or accounts that are repeat infringers. We may also, at our sole discretion, limit access to our website or terminate any user who infringes the intellectual property rights of others, whether or not there is any repeat infringement.
